What does ( RTF , BNF , STL ) Mean

Acronyms ( RTF , BNF , STL )

Το βίντεο θα είναι σύντομα διαθέσιμο
Before proceeding further it is important to explain the acronyms RTF , BNF , STL, as we will encounter them in all the machines we have.
These acronyms separate the machines according to the accessories that come with them. So, depending on the equipment each pilot has, he can also configure the machine he will build, so that it is compatible with the remote control and the FPV Googles he has.
The two main features that we should choose in the Drone are the wireless communication configuration technology and the wireless video transfer.

RTF (Ready To Fly) : RTF (Ready To Fly) is a category in Airplanes and Drones that are offered ready to fly without the need for further assembly or setup. RTF models usually include all necessary components, such as the flight controller, motors, remote controller and more, and are ready to fly after a few simple actions such as charging the battery and connecting the remote controller. This makes them ideal for beginners or those who don't have the time or knowledge to tackle assembling or setting up a model airplane or Drone.

BNF ( Bind And Fly ) : BNF (Bind And Fly) is a category in the world of model airplanes and drones. It refers to a model airplane or drone that is already ready to fly, with all peripherals, except the receiver, the controller, battery and charger.
This means you have to Bind the receiver to the controller (binding).
The model aircraft or Drone is ready to fly.
This allows hobbyists and professionals alike to choose the receiver and controller that best suits their needs and preferences.

STL Files ( Digital Product ) : STL files are a popular file format used in 3D printing and CAD design.
STL files describe the shape of the 3D object using triangular faces (triangles) and are used to transfer geometric data to the various 3D printing devices.
STL files are the most popular formats for exchanging data in various CAD and 3D printing programs.

After completing the order, you will receive access to the Digital Files, which you can download to your computer. From there, you can transfer them to a 3D printer and create your own Drone.

To complete the process, you will need to acquire all the necessary components
according to the specifications and peripherals described below.
After assembling and programming the Drone, you are ready to enjoy the experience of flight!

KIT ( Components Kit ) : A KIT (Components Kit) is a collection of components offered as a package to assemble a specific product. Typically, KITs include all the necessary components to build a product, such as airplanes, drones, robots, or other electronic devices. Users must assemble the components together and often perform some setup or programming before the product is ready for use.
KITs typically provide a more customized user experience and can be ideal for users who want to learn more about the technology or customize the product to their needs.

DIY ( Components Kit ) : The DIY (Do It Yourself) Components Kit is a package of components offered to users who want to build a product themselves. This package includes all the necessary parts needed to build a specific product, such as a DIY Drone, a robot, or an electronic device. DIY Components Kits offer users the opportunity to be actively involved in the construction process and gain more knowledge and experience in the field of technology and electronics.
(Good luck!)
RTF ( Ready To Fly ): This package is aimed at new users just starting out in the world of technology and beginner Drone pilots.
It is ideal for those who want a finished product without the hassle of assembly and programming.
With this package, it means you will receive your Drone ready, assembled, programmed and tested.
In addition, all the necessary accessories for its safe and comfortable flight are included, such as:
  • Frame
  • flight controller
  • esc
  • Motor
  • Propellers
  • Remote control with receiver
  • Camera with vtx
  • FPV googles
  • Charger
  • Batteries
  • Carrying bag
  • Instructions for use and safety.

This way, the new user can start flying their drone immediately after receiving it, without the hassle of preparation and dealing with technical problems.

Work done on the drone includes:

1. Assembling the machine: This process involves assembling all parts of the Drone, including the Frame, motors, wings and electronic components.
2. Pairing the Controller to the Receiver: This process involves connecting the controller to the Drone's receiver, thus ensuring communication between them.
3. Pairing with FPV Goggles: This process involves connecting the Drone with the FPV Goggles (virtual reality glasses), which allow the pilot to see, in real time, the image captured by the Drone's camera during flight.
4. Flight Controller Programming: This process involves programming the Drone's Flight Controller, which is responsible for controlling and stabilizing the flight.
5. Test Flight: After completing all the above mentioned tasks, a test flight of the Drone is carried out in order to confirm the correct operation and correct any problems.

With this option, you will have a comfortable and safe introduction to the hobby of model aircraft, without the risk of encountering problems during assembly or programming. This helps you avoid the risk of damaging components due to assembly errors or reverse feeding.
In addition, choosing an RTF machine offers you a guarantee for the quality of the components and the safety of the flight. So you can enjoy the experience of modelling, without the stress of initial installation and maintenance.
BNF (Bind And Fly): The BNF (Bind And Fly) package is aimed at users who already have peripherals from their previous drones, such as Remote Control, Googles, etc.
With this option, you will receive your Drone assembled and programmed, based on the features you have selected during your order process!

If you don't know how to pair the Drone with the peripherals you have, you can simply send the peripherals to our workshop. I will personally take care of completing the pairing process for you so that it is ready to fly without any effort on your part.
This way, you can enjoy your new Drone without worries!

Included are the following accessories for a safe and comfortable flight, such as:

This option is aimed at experienced users who have the knowledge and experience to assemble and program their own machines. In our shop, parts for all the 3D printed machines we make will soon be available.

You can be sure of the correct assembly and compatibility of the components you will use in your construction. This way, you can proceed to order the parts as soon as you finish printing your machine.

This option is usually aimed at professional users who already have experience in machine building and require specialized knowledge. However, regardless of experience level, this option offers the flexibility to control and customize your machine to your liking.

If you are not a professional, this option can save you money in the long run as you can repair and maintain your machines yourself.
KIT ( Components Kit ): If you choose a ready-made component kit, you will receive all the necessary components you need to assemble your machine.
After you receive it, you will have to assemble it, program it and pair it with the rest of the peripherals you have.

Parts kits are usually produced by experienced manufacturers and shops that check the compatibility of the parts to ensure a smooth and trouble-free assembly.

During the ordering process, you define the characteristics of the machine you want and then the technician selects the appropriate components to prepare the package for you. After you receive them, you are responsible for assembling, programming and pairing the parts.
