🖨️ Printer Component Identification

Now that you have powered on your printer, completed the initialization, and connected it to your phone, you are one step away from your first print!

Before we start printing, let’s identify the main components of your printer and understand their functions.

🔥 The Print Head (Nozzle Assembly)

📌 The print head is the most important part of the printer as it melts the plastic filament and deposits it onto the print bed.

✔️ Front Side: Contains the protective cover, cooling fan, and other essential components that prepare the material for printing.

✔️ Right Side: Features a filament cutter, which cuts the filament when the print head moves fully to the right and presses against a fixed component on the gantry.

✔️ Left Side: Has a lever with a spring, which releases the filament when pressed.
⚠️ Do not press this lever unnecessarily—it is not needed often!

✔️ Top Side: Where the filament tubes connect.
🟢 Without AMS: 1 tube
🟢 With AMS: 4 tubes

⚠️ Important Warnings!
🔹 Never apply excessive force when attaching or removing anything from the print head!
🔹 Maximum force: 1.5kg – anything beyond this can cause damage!
🔹 Avoid frequent removal and reinsertion of the filament tubes – after ~15 removals, the internal connector may wear out and require replacement.

📌 The print head contains most of the printer’s sensors!
💡 If any issues occur, you can fix it yourself, send it for repair, or contact us for support.

⚙️ Horizontal Motion Axis (Gantry Arm)

📌 The gantry arm is the metal horizontal structure where the print head moves.

✔️ Moves the print head left, right, up, and down to build the object layer by layer.

✔️ Left Side: Contains the "Purger" or filament ejector.
📌 The printer uses this component to purge old filament before changing colors.
📌 Keep it clean and check it regularly!

✔️ Ensure the print head moves freely!
⚠️ Do not place objects to the left of the print head that could obstruct its movement.
⚠️ The print head moves up to 18cm above the printer. If placed in a shelf with low clearance, the filament tubes may get stuck, causing damage!

🎥 Printer Camera

📌 Located on the right gantry arm, the camera has three main functions:

Remote Print Monitoring – View your print progress via the app.
Time-lapse Videos – Captures each layer to create an animated video of the print.
Black Box Recording – If a print fails, footage is saved to the SD card, allowing you to review when and why it failed.

🏗️ The Print Bed

📌 The print bed is where your object is built.

✔️ Removable metal sheet – Allows easy removal of completed prints.
✔️ Three screws underneath – If you forgot to tighten them during setup, do it now!
✔️ Back Side: Includes a small cleaning brush that removes excess filament from the nozzle.
⚠️ If this component is missing or dislodged, the print head will not clean properly!

🚨 Important Warning!
The print bed moves back and forth! Avoid placing objects in front or behind the printer that may obstruct its movement.

📟 Printer Screen & Controls

📌 The front touchscreen lets you:
Adjust printer settings
Check Wi-Fi & account connection
Load or unload filament
Start and monitor prints

⚠️ The screen is not the fastest, so if an action takes time, be patient!

💾 The SD Card – The Printer’s Memory

📌 The SD card is one of the most critical components of the printer.

✔️ Stores print time logs and error reports.
✔️ Holds all print files.
✔️ Needs replacement every ~1000 print hours.

⚠️ What to Always Avoid!

🚨 1️⃣ Never pull the filament backward without cutting it first!
📌 Doing so without pressing the left lever can cause serious clogging inside the print head, requiring professional repair.

🚨 2️⃣ Never perform any maintenance while the printer is cold!
📌 Always follow the guided maintenance steps on the touchscreen menu.

🚨 3️⃣ Never move the gantry by pushing from the left side!
📌 If you need to adjust it, hold it from the right side to avoid misalignment.

🚨 4️⃣ The print head is HOT!
📌 It reaches up to 250°C! Touching it will instantly burn your skin. 🔥

🚀 Now that you know all the essential printer components, you’re ready to move forward with your first print! 🖨️
