RCB.ROV.001 : Body Parts List

🔧 How the Rover is Designed

The Rover consists of three main assemblies, designed to offer easy assembly, repair, and upgradeability.

📌 The Core Components of the Rover

1️⃣ Main Chassis
📌 The main chassis provides the structural frame of the vehicle, serving as the foundation for the entire system.

2️⃣ Control Tower
📌 All electronic components are mounted on the Control Tower, which includes:
Main Controller & Microprocessor
Battery & Power Management System
Receiver & H-Bridge (for motor control)
Data Transmission System & Wireless Communication

3️⃣ Rear Section – Modular Setup
📌 Depending on the Rover's configuration, you can choose:
4x4 setup – Full four-wheel drive with two additional rear motors.
3x2 setup – Featuring a single rear caster wheel, offering more agility and a lower cost.

🛠 Wheel & Hub Design

📌 The Rover's tires are 3D-printed using TPU, which provides excellent flexibility and grip.

📌 Important Considerations When Printing Tires:
✔ There are left and right tires, so the lobes are mirrored for proper traction and balance.
✔ This ensures optimal force distribution and better handling on different terrains.

📌 Hubs Are Different for the Front and Rear Wheels:
✔ In the 3x2 configuration, the rear hubs house the motors.
✔ In the 4x4 configuration, each hub has an independent motor for fully controllable movement.
✔ Carefully assemble the motors inside the hubs to ensure proper alignment and function.

🛠 Assembly & Repair

Never use thread-locking glue!
📌 The screws fasten directly into plastic, and if you apply glue, attempting to unscrew them later may cause the insert to spin inside the plastic, forcing you to reprint or cut the part.

Use an Allen key and check the screws regularly!
📌 Tighten the screws properly, but avoid excessive force to prevent damaging the plastic parts.

Easy Access to Internal Components
📌 The Rover can be split into two sections, allowing quick part replacement without full disassembly.

📌 It's 100% 3D-Printed!
✔ If something breaks, you can reprint and replace it in just a few hours.
✔ All components are designed for easy replacement and modular customization.

⚠ Important Warnings

🔴 It’s NOT waterproof! The Rover cannot withstand water exposure. If it gets wet, it will likely short-circuit.
🔴 Designed for dry environments – Avoid use in wet, muddy, or highly humid conditions.
🔴 Built for durability but remains DIY-friendly – Even a 4th-grade kid (who's a genius 🔥) could assemble and repair it!

📌 Why the Rover’s Design is Unique
Modular frameworkSwap parts quickly and efficiently.
Compatible with various mods – Customize the Rover for different applications & missions.
Total freedom in assembly – Mix and match components to create your own customized version.
