Installation & Setup Guide
The FPV Mod is one of the most exciting and functional upgrades for the Rover, enabling real-time first-person video transmission via a front-mounted camera.
📌 Compatibility:
✔ Can be installed on both 3x2 and 4x4 configurations.
✔ Currently supports DJI O3 Air Unit for stabilized image and tilt functionality.
✔ Custom Adaptations: If you need to mount a different camera, send me the design and specifications, and I will create a custom mount for you.
📦 FPV Kit Contents
✔ New front chassis section – Replaces the existing front part of the Rover to accommodate the camera.
✔ FPV Camera Mount Assembly – Includes the mounting mechanism and a servo for tilt stabilization.
✔ Camera Dome – Protective housing for the camera to shield it from impacts and debris.
❌ Not Included: FPV camera & transmitter – These must be purchased separately.
⚙ Assembly Instructions
🔹 Step 1: Assemble the entire FPV camera mount, servo, and new front chassis section before attaching it to the Rover. This makes testing and adjustments much easier before final installation.
🔹 Step 2: Remove the existing front section of the Rover.
🔹 Step 3: Attach the new front section with the camera and servo.
🔹 Step 4: If you are using a Flight Controller for OSD, you may need to modify the Control Tower wiring.
🔹 Step 5: If you are using video transmission only, simply connect the power from the Control Tower.
