3D Print It: Print Your Parts! 🏗️
To move on to this step, you must have:
- Purchased the appropriate file 💾 (from the previous step: Order List)
- Downloaded the files to your computer 🚀
🔹 What You’ll Need:
- 3D files that you purchased (includes all necessary parts and folders)
- A 3D printer (or access to one) 🖨️
- PLA filament (or another material of your choice) 🔎
🔸 Print Preparation
- Check out the slicer images I made on Bambu (you’ll find the corresponding files and details inside the folder).
- From there, you can see information about:
- ⏰ Print time
- 📐 Number of layers
- 📦 Amount of filament needed
- ⚙️ Settings (e.g., supports, infill, etc.)
- If you have a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, there’s also a ready-to-use project file for direct printing.
🤔 My Personal Preference: I use PLA in draft 0.24 mode for faster & easier printing. The parts do not experience high mechanical stress, so PLA is more than enough!
🔸 Print Details
🔥 Red Cover (Top Part)
- Does not require support.
- Prints as is, placed directly on the bed.
🦶 Feet
- Also does not require support.
- Prints directly as you see them.
⬇️ Bottom Part
- This one needs support, as it has small recesses for the USB module.
- All other settings (temperature, infill, etc.) remain as you prefer.
You can color them however you like or change material/settings depending on your printer. 🎨
➡️ Next Step: Assembly
Once you’ve completed all your prints, move on to the next step to assemble the parts and bring your project to life! 🔧
