• The printing cost is €5 per hour.
  • Student Discount: 15% for all students.

2. Risk Management

Printing always involves a degree of risk, which we take on entirely.

What is risk management?

• Failures during printing:
  • The part may detach from the print bed.
  • Power outages or machine malfunctions may occur.
  • Preparation errors can cause overhangs or supports to fail.
• Failures after printing:
  • During support removal or post-processing, delicate parts may break or become deformed.
  • In such cases, we take responsibility for reprinting the part.

3. File Preparation

• Preparing the file for printing requires time, expertise, and precision.
  • Proper placement of parts for optimal printing.
  • Adjustments and testing before production begins.

How Much Will a Part Cost? 💰

Cost Calculation

1. Printing Time:

   • Many popular websites, such as Makerworld, Printables, and MyMiniFactory, provide the estimated printing time for each model.
   • Simply multiply the estimated time by the hourly printing cost of the workshop (e.g., €5/hour) to calculate an indicative price.

2. Adjustments to the Part:

   • If you want to change the size, dimensions, or other properties, the cost may increase or decrease accordingly.

3. Risk Management:

   • For complex parts or designs that are prone to failure, the risk management cost may increase to ensure you receive a high-quality result.

Minimum Order

• The minimum order cost at our workshop is €15.
  • This means that regardless of the print duration (5 minutes or 3 hours), the minimum charge will be €15.
  • To maximize value, consider ordering enough parts to fill a print bed for at least 3 hours of printing.
