👋 Hey there! I’m Manolis Skoulikaris, but most people know me as Manos 3D.

I was born and raised in Mytilene, studied Automotive Mechanical Engineering in Thessaloniki, but my journey didn’t stop there. Since then, I’ve been forging my own path in the world of design, creation, and education.

💡 The Guy Who Doesn’t Follow Rules

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this:

🧩 I’ve always been different.
🤨 The curious one, the guy who never understood why he should follow rules that made no sense.
⚡ The one who found his own way—and made it work even better.

I don’t believe in "ready-made" solutions.
I don’t follow "traditional" paths.
My way, my choice, my creation.

📚 The "Gift" of Dyslexia

Yes, I have dyslexia. And instead of seeing it as a problem, I turned it into a superpower.

🧠 I can visualize and create 3D models in my mind with absolute precision.
⚙️ I solve most problems before I even draw the first line.

But there’s another side to it:

✍️ Writing was always my biggest struggle.
😅 If you ever see a mistake, just know that ChatGPT and AI are my best friends.
🚀 Because no one can have it all – and no one needs to.

🛠️ My Strength: Simplifying the Complex

When I started teaching, I discovered something unique:

🎯 I can simplify concepts that others find impossible to explain.
🎓 I can break things down so even a child can understand what most engineers struggle with.

Why?

The people who truly understand 3D printing don’t speak about it because it’s not in their best interest to do so.

🎯 The top professionals in the industry work for huge multinational corporations.
🎯 They develop massive, high-tech projects under strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
🎯 Even if they wanted to share their knowledge, they legally can’t.

❌ This means that the most valuable information remains "locked away" within companies that don’t want the public to have access to it.

👤 On the other hand, independent creators and hobbyists don’t have the platform or the confidence to express themselves openly.
🚧 They fear they won’t be understood or that their work will be dismissed.

🔹 People don’t realize the full potential of 3D printing.

💡 I refuse to keep my mouth shut.
💡 I don’t care if the industry "prefers" us to stay silent.
💡 I didn’t sacrifice my life just to serve corporations that hoard knowledge and keep people in the dark.

🎯 I made a different choice.
❌ I turned down offers for high-ranking positions in major companies.
❌ I refused to trade my freedom for big salaries and corporate contracts.
✅ I chose to educate, to share, to build a new generation of people who understand and use this technology.

💪 I didn’t sacrifice everything just to become someone’s employee.
💪 I worked endless hours, invested everything, so that today I can do exactly what I want.
💪 And what I want is to show the world the power of 3D printing.

🎵 The Parallels with the Music & Film Industry

3D designers are experiencing today what musicians and actors went through years ago.

🎼 Musicians once wrote songs and had full control over their work.
💰 Then record labels bought their rights, leaving them with scraps.
📺 Actors perform in movies, but when their films and shows are streamed worldwide, they earn nothing from it.

🚨 The same thing is happening with 3D designers.

🎯 Big companies want to "buy us"—mind, body, and soul.
🎯 They want to control our knowledge and keep the technology for themselves.

📌 But no one buys me.

💡 I refuse to work for someone who tells me what I can and cannot say.
💡 I won’t follow orders from people who know less than I do.
💡 I won’t be part of an industry that values profit over knowledge.

🚀 I want to make knowledge accessible to everyone.

💡 If you have knowledge, you have a responsibility.
📚 Knowledge should not be locked away in corporations or universities.
🚀 Knowledge should become schools, books, videos—it should be shared!

🎯 The few who truly understand 3D printing often stay silent.
🎯 Everyone else doesn’t know enough to talk about it.

🔹 I don’t hoard knowledge—I share it.
🔹 Because I know that the more people learn, the stronger our community becomes.
