🔬 Print Analysis
🚀 This is the most important step! Here, we adjust the print settings that affect quality, strength, and print time.
💡 To fully understand this process, check out the workshops! There, I explain each setting and why we change it.
🔹 Global Object vs. Individual Object Settings
📌 Global Object: Adjusts the general settings for all objects and all print beds.
📌 Object Mode: Allows you to adjust each object separately.
👉 When in "Object Mode," this is also where you assign colors to your objects!
🎛 Advanced Settings
✅ On the right side of the window, there is an "Advanced" option.
✅ Clicking it reveals extra settings.
⚠️ If you don’t understand these settings, don’t change them!
🖥 Mass Editing Mode
🔹 On the right, there's a small window that opens a popup with batch settings.
🔹 This allows you to quickly modify multiple objects or print beds at once.
✨ Magic Wand (The "Hidden" Tool!)
📌 On the far right, hidden away, there’s a tool that looks like a "magic wand"!
✨ What does it do?
✅ It lets you set different print resolutions for each object!
✅ You can print some parts with high detail and others faster!
💡 This is an incredibly powerful tool, but for some reason, it's well hidden!
⚠️ What NOT to Change!
❌ In most cases, the default settings work just fine!
🔹 The only things you might need to adjust are:
✅ Supports – We’ll cover this next!
✅ Infill Density – Depending on whether you want a lightweight or strong object.
🚨 Changing other settings without knowing what they do could result in a failed print!
🎯 Final Thoughts
✅ Start with the default settings and avoid unnecessary changes!
✅ If printing multiple objects, use batch settings to save time!
✅ Try the "magic wand" tool—it’s one of the best hidden features!
🚀 Now we’re ready to move on to supports! 🛠️
